Dr. Rolle was deeply saddened about the fires on Maui in 2023. Her first thoughts were to get on a plane, get on the island and figure out how she could help in the recovery efforts. She wanted to do something, but she knew she would just be in the way. She prayed about what to do. It came to her to use her expertise to help others. She decided to help the many people who stepped up and started doing the work by offering a free workshop and free consulting.
This workshop is for individuals, groups or organizations that want to start, or have already started a nonprofit organization, but want to understand the process of getting 501(c)(3) IRS tax exemption. This workshop covers basic information and does not cover how to file the application to obtain IRS tax exempt status. There will be time for Q&A.
