Dr. Dorinda Rolle is the founder and president of Rolle and Associates, LLC and has held positions with various organizations in the academic, business, government, and nonprofit arenas. A serial entrepreneur, Dr. Rolle started her first business at age 15, and has helped many others start their own businesses, and has done the same to help hundreds of others launch successful nonprofit organizations.
She has been an adjunct professor in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology program at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, and the African American Studies Program at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
She has also she developed curriculum for and taught leadership and inclusion courses in the Executive Education Program at the UTSA Center for Professional Excellence where she was also an executive coach. Dr. Rolle is a certified executive coach and a certified diversity practitioner.
In addition to teaching and consulting, she is a motivational speaker to corporations, nonprofits, women’s groups, and on college campuses. She inspires her audiences to set high goals and to reach for excellence. Dr. Rolle is a skilled group facilitator, known for her ability to help leaders synthesize visions and goals for their organizations.
She is a trained mediator where her specialty is workplace mediation. Dr. Rolle works with teams and individuals to develop mutually beneficial solutions and conclusions to disagreements and challenges in the workplace or volunteer organizations.
She is a graduate of several leadership programs including the Municipal Leadership Institute, African American Leadership Institute, Leadership San Antonio, Leadership Texas, Masters Leadership Program, Neighborhood Leadership Academy, and the Climate Reality Leadership Corps. She has been a facilitator and coach in many other leadership programs. She has conducted extensive research evaluating leadership development programs and published her doctoral dissertation on the subject.
She has served in several leadership positions on boards and commissions for both private and governmental agencies including appointments to the Affirmative Action Advisory Committee for the City of San Antonio, the Small Business Advisory Board, the MLK March Fundraising Committee, and the inaugural board of the Community Advisory Board for Texas Public Radio.
She has volunteered her time and skills in a diverse range of interests including international efforts in Mexico, Tanzania, Japan, South Africa, and Israel. As an ambassador of American culture, her home has hosted international students attending local universities and NATO military officers from the Defense Language Institute at Lackland AFB, for extended periods to help with English language studies.
She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, and earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX.
She is the mother of three successful, awesomely good human beings, and the grandmother of five children who have expanded her vision of how wonderful life can truly be.
